Oh, thank you! I don't think anyone's ever written fic specifically for me before, and there is not enough Duncan fic in the world, so I'll be grinning for hours down here.
At this was so sad and sweet, and so very Duncan. He wants to do the right thing, so badly. The thought of Lilly 2.0 actually being Mr. Manning's is awful, but makes a chilling sort of sense. And Duncan never brings it up, for the sake of the girl who is still his daughter. The little things you bring up all over the place; like Logan having thought Jake would hit Duncan, just... awesomely painful.
I love this line from the second last paragraph: He couldn’t explain that he understood, that the Kane house had frozen his sister so much that she put her hand in the fire just to feel some warmth. GAH.
Okay, if I don't shut up now I'll be going on forever, but... ilu, you know that?
