The feeling of Yuletide is excitement tinged with panic and fear, yes? I wasn't fully initiated into the mysteries of Yuletide last year, but all the 'Yuletide assignments are the event horizon of fannish awesomeness' posts are kicking up my sense of doom.

Indeed. My moomin icon is no longer a symbol of gleeful anticipation, but of creeping dread. But It Will Be Fine. It will be better than fine. I just slightly have that feeling of dread like the moment before you turn over your exam paper.
