I watched Mysterious Skin not too long ago, and it really hurt. I was able to appreciate that it was really well done, astonishingly well-acted - just, so terribly genuine. But I shouldn't have watched it - I knew that going in, actually, I know myself well enough that I knew that going in, but I watched it anyway, and I don't really know why, and well. I'm still getting over it.
